Blender Character Modeling Tutorial
A guide, tutorial, book, anything on really getting started with 3D Character Modeling?
I'm just turning 17 and for about a year now I've been dabbling around in 3D modeling doing simple things involving Source, Gamebryo, and Unreal engine models. I hope to some day make a career out of actual 3D modeling, whereas so far I've only done simple "hacks" and "ports" for the Source engine. But I'm really at a loss as to where to get started. I want to get a jump start at things by finding some information and help with 3D modeling, so I'm better prepared for the future. I currently use 3DS Max 2010 (though I also have Blender and a friend of mine can get me Maya,) and I typically dawdle with character models. So are there any books, guides, or the such that could show me the ropes and help me prepare?
